Round these parts we’ve been frantically baby proofing for the newly mobile six-month-old. There’s never, ever enough hours in a day. We typically take a break from homeschooling in December, but with so many unintentional breaks in November, I thought it’d be best if we just power onward with tons of review. I have every intention of starting Mary with long division (racks and tubes) and bead frame work in the new year. Also I promise a day in review post soon. A really in-depth look at our Waseca Reading program AND Timberdoodle work boxes and how that all fits into our schedule — as a bonus, I’ll even throw in how I stay remotely sane homeschooling with 4 kids. *Spoiler — I don’t really.*
Here’s a photo dump mess of our last week! Recent events not pictured — we’ve bought a new dishwasher, had a violin recital, are gearing up for the girls’ orchestra recital, went to Camp Boggy Creek. There’s a few shots here of the really pretty floor bed my hubby built. We also picked up a few new materials you’ll see better in next week’s post. This week was homeschooling in survival mode. But looks pretty good anyway.
