Talk about a favorite toy — we received Pixel Baby from Timberdoodle in exchange for our honest review — this activity is one of my toddler’s favorite activities.
Will loves grasping the colorful pegs, removing and replacing them over and over again. He can easily place them on the board independently. Because Will is still under two, he hasn’t mastered some of the skills required for sorting colors and matching them to the pictures underneath, but that’s an added dimension of play we will grow into. The pieces are bright and simple with only three color variations. They’re large enough not to pose a choking risk.
My favorite thing of all is that this work travels well! You know, when we get back to traveling places after all this coronavirus business. We visit the hospital quite a bit for my oldest kid, so I’m always interested in low-profile learning toys that don’t take up too much space. This fits the bill perfectly.
Will works with the Baby Pixel every day. Find it here at Timberdoodle Co.
What a cute toy! I bet my boys would’ve loved this when they were younger. My 4 year old has a similar toy that he enjoys playing with.
What an interesting looking resource – it does look like little ones would really love it! The colors are so bright.
