Ready for another Timberdoodle review? Hope so because I’m keeping them coming. This time I have some great work for toddlers: Match the Buddies Puzzles.
We received this activity free in exchange for this review. All opinions are honest and totally 100% my own.

Object to object matching is an early language work in Montessori education. Visual discrimination skills play an important part in learning to recognize letter shapes. Match the Buddies Puzzles are a great way to practice these skills and a fun first language activity from Timberdoodle.
As you can see, the illustrations are simple and sweet. Each puzzle is color-coded to help guide the right pieces where they fit. My seventeen-month-old is still working to get the hang of it, but he’s also lagging a little in his language skills. He does enjoy mixing up and fitting the pieces together, and I can’t wait until it really clicks for him.

Right now we use the pieces to talk about each animal and the animal sounds.
My big kids used the puzzle pieces to talk about predators and prey. A well-rounded activity with lots of extensions.

If you’re interested in getting your hands on these super cute buddies too, you can find them here. I don’t know what Black Friday sales Timberdoodle is cooking up yet, but I’m excited.
Great review of a very cute activity set! Thanks for sharing!
